Biolatte Travel protects against gastrointestinal discomforts such as diarrhea and irregular bowel movements, and supports recovery from such conditions. Biolatte Travel is suitable for daily use, and is especially useful during travelling. Contains Zinc for added immunity boost.
 
Each capsule of Biolatte Travel contains 1.6 billion CFU of live human-specific lactic acid bacteria (Bifidobacterium Bb-12, Streptococcus thermophilus) and 1 billion CFU of live yeast Saccharomyces boulardii (Sc. boulardii). 
 
Bifidobacterium Bb-12 (Chr. Hansen) is one of the world’s most documented probiotic strains for supporting digestive and immune health in infants, children and adults. It helps to regulate bowel movements in both diarrhea and constipation while strengthening immunity. 
 
The human-specific lactic acid bacteria strains specially selected in Biolatte Travel:
Attach more effectively to the intestinal walls naturally, due to adaptations of the bacterial cell wall to human intestinal mucosa
Grow optimally at the human body temperature of around 37 degrees celcius
Survive intact through the gastrointestinal tract, in stomach acid and intestinal bile
 
The benefits of Sc. boulardii in gastrointestinal conditions are well-documented in medical literature. It aids in the prevention of antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD), Traveler’s diarrhea (TD), as well as the treatment of other forms of diarrhea seen in adults and children. Sc. boulardii can also help to reduce symptom severity in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).

Dosage & Administration: 
1 capsule per day taken with water on an empty stomach (half an hour before or after food). Recommended to start one week before and throughout the trip.
