KOLESTOP® contains plant sterols including beta-sitosterol, campesterol, sitostanol and campestanol. Plant sterols are well-supported by scientific literature and recommended for reducing LDL cholesterol. Acting as competitive inhibitors, plant sterols reduce the absorption of dietary cholesterol through the gastrointestinal tract. A daily dose of 2 grams (2000 mg) of plant sterols can reduce LDL-C by 10-15%. 
 
Ingredients: Plant sterol preparation (beta-sitosterol, campesterol, sitostanol and campestanol), Anti-caking agents microcrystalline cellulose, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, Silicon dioxide, Surface treatment agent magnesium salts of fatty acids, Aroma (vanillin)
