Ecological concentrate for high-level disinfection and cleaning of surfaces based on active oxygen

Oxisept Floor is a powder-like concentrate based on active oxygen. It has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity within a short exposure time. Upon dissolving in water, the preparation generates “in situ” peracetic acid, which releases free active oxygen. The effectiveness of the preparation is not affected by protein contamination. The resultant solution is eco-friendly, does not emit harmful chemicals and compatible with different materials.

Application
Oxisept Floor is intended for cleaning and high level disinfection of:

  • All types of water-resistant surfaces and objects in hospitals and healthcare institutions.
  • Surfaces and equipment in public institutions, food processing facilities and households.
  • Large surfaces such as floors, walls, ceilings.
  • Textiles – chemo-thermo-disinfection.

Spectrum of Activity:

Bactericidal, mycobactericidal (incl. Tbc), virucidal, fungicidal and sporicidal.
Meets EN 1276, EN 1650, EN 13697, EN 14348, EN 14347, EN 14476, EN 13624, EN 13727, EN 13704 standards.

Active ingredients: Peracetic acid (CAS 79-21-0), formed “in situ” from sodium percarbonate (CAS15630-89- 4) and Tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED) (CAS10543-57-4).

Other ingredients: Cationic surfactants, corrosion inhibitors, chelating agent, pH regulator.

Directions:

1. Fill the container with room temperature water

2. Using the enclosed scoop, measure out the required amount of Oxisept Floor powder

3. Add the powder gradually to the water and stir several times within a period of 15 minutes.

Note: New solutions must be prepared daily.

Cleaning & Disinfection of Hard Surfaces

Prepared solution can be applied by spraying or wiping on the surfaces to be treated.

Rinsing requirements depend on the specific surface (e.g., floors vs. benches) and the intended use. If Oxisept Floor is used for disinfection of surfaces which will subsequently be in contact with food, these surfaces should be rinsed with water at the end of the contact time.

Chemo-Thermal Disinfection of Textiles

Add Oxisept Floor powder in the detergent compartment of the washing machine to achieve a concentration of 5-10 g in one liter of solution.

Wash textiles at 40 – 60°C (depending on the type of contamination) for 30 minutes in order to achieve bactericidal (incl. tuberculocidal), limited virucidal, fungicidal and sporicidal activity. If textiles are highly contaminated, pre-washing should be done.
To guarantee disinfection, the ratio of dry textile to water should not be more than 1:5, which means 25-50 g of preparation should be used for 1 kg dry textile (5L water).

Storage conditions
Keep well sealed in the original package, in a dry and well-ventilated area, below< 35°C, and away from flammable materials. Do not expose to direct sunlight and high humidity.

Safety measures
Do not release Oxisept Floor into the environment. Use personal protective equipment – see the special instructions/ safety data sheet.
