Biolatte Havitall is a fibre and live probiotics preparation intended to support gastrointestinal function, and ease constipation and chronic diarrhea. It also improves symptoms associated with haemorrhoids and irritable bowel syndrome.
 
Biolatte Havitall contains psyllium husk, which increases stool volume and softens stools to gently stimulate bowel movements in constipation. It also reduces diarrhea by absorbing excess water in the intestinal tract. Being a nonfermentable fibre, psyllium husk produces less gas in the gastrointestinal tract, which leads to fewer abdominal side effects such as cramps, flatulence and bloat. This is in contrast to short-chain fermentable dietary fibre (eg. inulin, fucto-oligosaccharides). 
 
Biolatte Havital also provides live human-specific lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Enterococcus faeciumo).
 
These human-specific lactic acid bacteria strains:
Attach more effectively to the intestinal walls naturally, due to adaptations of the bacterial cell wall to human intestinal mucosa
Grow optimally at the human body temperature of around 37 degrees Celcius
Survive intact through the stomach acid and intestinal bile
This ensures that the probiotics strains are able to thrive in the human gastrointestinal tract, where they exert their positive effects on the gastrointestinal system.

Psyllium husk: 11.082g, 
Blueberry powder: 0.846g, 
Lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Enterococcus faecium): Total 2.2 billion CFU
 
Administration: 
Mix 1 tablespoon of Havitall powder with 200 – 400 mL of water. Drink immediately after mixing. It is recommended to drink plenty of water during the day as psyllium husk requires water to exerts its effects. 
 
Dosage may be increased gradually up to 12g a day or as directed by healthcare professionals.
 
Not for children under 6 years of age.
 
NOTE: Shake the jar well before each use.
