Biolatte Madame Capsules contain 0.75 billion CFU live human-specific lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus crispatus and Enterococcus faecium) in addition to 5 billion CFU live yeast (Saccharomyces boulardii) in each capsule.
 
Biolatte Madame is indicated for the maintainence of the genitourinary system microflora in women. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of genitourinary conditions such as vaginitis (inflammation of the vagina which may be due to infections) and urinary tract infections (UTIs). It may be administered orally (as an oral probiotic) or vaginally due to its patented formulation.
 
 L. crispatus is one of the predominant lactobacillus present in a healthy vagina. Its dominating presence is often considered to be the hallmark of a healthy vagina. The yeast, S. boulardii, helps to inhibit the overgrowth of pathogens (disease-causing micro-organisms) in the genitourinary tract. The combination of  L. crispatus, E. faecium and Sc. boulardii has been demonstrated to have a synergistic effect in preventing genitourinary infections.
